NEVER use those car washes if you value the finish of your car.
The ONLY time I ever go to those places is when I need to spray off some pollen or construction dust that settles on my Z when I am out of town. You certainly should never touch your car with those filthy brushes. They are used to scrub sand and mud and dirt off of bubbas truck as before mentioned and those sand and grit particles are scraped all over your paint when you use those brushes. Wash your Z in your driveway if you care about it, and use a seperate glove or wash rag for the body and the wheels/underside. That's car washing 101, you should have been able to deduce that for yourself, but hopefully whatever bad habits you started ended today, assuming you are interested in keeping your Z looking as good as possible.
